Canadian brand Kuwalla Tee release their FW17 collection

If you’re an avid follower of Short Motivation, you might already be aware we back a small number of brands. There’s a reason behind this. Either our selected brands have a unique design ethos, are of great quality and/or value. There are also other reasons, such as philanthropy, when a brand gives to a good cause. Some brands fulfil all these criteria.

Kuwalla Tee is one of these brands. Pronounced QUA-LI–TY, we already like their play on words. Based out of Montreal, Canada, the brand was originally inspired by the inability to source 3-pack basics such as t-shirts in a premium quality and started using the best materials and fabrics for essential items.

Every item contains a small embroidery of a Koala bear, this is not only a play on the name but also a commitment with the environment in mind, minimising water and waste whenever possible. Each pack is sold in recyclable packaging, so you know you’re doing minimal damage when buying it. Additionally, 1% of sales are donated to charity.

There is very little dislike with Kuwalla Tee, and to top it all off, a number of their pieces look absolutely fantastic, enabling you to have high-quality essentials which also look fantastic. See some of their key pieces, such as the Full Zip Bomber, made from a nylon cotton combo, which is slightly oversized, is great for autumn layering.

Another favourite is the Tencel Hi-Lo tee which has an elongated back and drop shoulder, alongside slim sleeves, with Tencel used as an environmentally friendly material. Another item is the thermal under scoop in yellow which is an extended long sleeve waffle which features a curved bottom and thumb holes to keep warm during the cooler evenings or to use as a base layer.

The Kuwalla Tee FW17 range is now fully available, so visit their website for more information.
