These Mr Marvis shorts should be an essential addition to your summer wardrobe

We recognise it’s tough to find an everyday pair of regular shorts. Shorts you’d feel comfortable wearing at work, on the daily commute and equally on your vacation. You want a classic style, with the right length and an element of stretch. Mr Marvis has made it their mission to create “The Perfect Short” and we believe they might have succeeded.

The team behind Mr Marvis travelled far and wide to source inspiration for their shorts, which were designed in a cool Amsterdam but manufactured in Porto. The shorts are crafted by hand using the highest quality materials to craft the perfect day-to-day short. The fabric, buttons and labels are deliberately sourced close to the facility and as we know from visiting the region, the area is focussed on producing premium clothing.

To see how the shorts are produced and the Mr Marvis story, watch the video below.

Mr Marvis shorts are made from a medium-weight cotton twill and include a 7″ inseam which increases by half an inch every size. Weaved into the fabric is 2% elastane which will allow the shorts to stretch with your body as you go about your day. There is a small hidden zipped pocket alongside the right-hand pocket to keep hold of your most precious items. Although no spare button (who has ever used one?) is included, if you need one all you need to do is contact Mr Marvis and they’ll ship one out to you without any fuss.

We’ve found the shorts to be a great all-rounder for wearing in the summer months and potentially, due to the medium-weight fabric, should see you through into the cooler autumn months. Pair them with a t-shirt and sneakers for a casual look or, for dinner, why not dress up with a crisp linen shirt and a pair of loafers?

At €79 they offer excellent value for money and there are so many colours so you could purchase a number and have your shorts collection sorted for the Summer.

Colours sell out fast, so to secure your pair, visit the Mr Marvis online store.
