M&S launches collaboration with Tommy Clarke

Exclusive collaboration of printed swim shorts, t-shirts and flip flops in time for Summer

Marks & Spencer, the British high street brand, has teamed up with photographer Tommy Clarke for a seven-piece capsule collection of printed swim shorts, t-shirts and a pair of flip flops for the beach.

Range includes four swim shorts, two Tee’s and a pair of flip flops

Clarke, known for his aerial style of photography and regularly featured on travel magazines such as the front cover of Condenast Traveller, his images will feature across the range, including shots of Gran Canaria, St Tropez and Cornwall.

Although printed swim shots tend to dominate the top end of the market, the range includes shorts for only $36/£22.50, ideal for anyone seeking swimwear on a limited budget.

M&S were previously known for a successful collaboration with David Gandy, with a number of these products featuring on early Short Motivation shoots (with mixed results). Whereas the Gandy shorts were tailored, plain and available in various leg lengths, the collaboration with Tommy Clarke includes shorts with a more relaxed drawstring design and a mid-length inseam.

Available now from the Marks & Spencer website, the M&S x Tommy Clarke range includes four swimshorts ($36/£22.50), two t-shirts ($31/£19.50) and a single pair of flip flops ($16/£9.50).
