Frescobol Carioca announces Azulejos range of swimwear prints

Small collection consists of three prints inspired by Brazilian designer Athos Bulcao

Frescobol Carioca, the luxury Brazilian swimwear brand, has announced a small range of printed swimwear, part of its existing Modernismo collection, inspired by designer Athos Bulcao, best known for his mosaic tile work, found on iconic Brazilian buildings such as the Residence Mandadori and Rede Sarah Brasília.

Athos Bulcao believed in producing artwork available to the general public, to find by accident on their way to work, school or on a stroll through the city. He was also a founding member of the Moderismo movement through architecture.

The navy pair of Azulejos “sports” shorts and our favourite style

Limited to the more casual Frescobol Carioca “Sports” range of shorts, the three-piece collection consists of the Letras in sky blue, Triangulos in sea green and, possibly a Short Motivation favourite, the Formas in navy. The “Sports” short is our go-to Frescobol short at Short Motivation, regularly featuring across our social media.

The wider Modernismo collection consists of a range of casual and tailored shorts, in short and long lenths.

Available now, the three shorts are available from the Frescobol Carioca website for $191/£145.
