Cure your wanderlust by using Hitlist

Great destinations and superb prices. What's not to like?

Travel is becoming the new norm, we all want to go at some stage, and it’s also now the new cool. Everyone you know wants to travel somewhere and show that they’ve been ‘traveling’ on their social media. So where do you go? Don’t know, or maybe you can’t fuel your travel lusts due to high prices? The travel app Hitlist may be here to help.

Branded the ‘Tinder for Travel’, Hitlist aims to provide you with a list of favourites and with the list it will let you know when any from your favourited locations reaches a lower price. Which has enabled users to get some ridiculously low fares to destinations all over the world.

The Hitlist fares are powered by SkyScanner, which we recently covered for finding affordable flights and also other crowdsourced results. So, for instance, if someone is over on a different website e.g. Expedia or Cheapoair and finds a great deal, then the information is transmitted, and the fares also become available to Hitlist users. Hitlist also splits out the deals and rates how good the specific deal is in relation to other prices for that specific fare. You’ll then be presented with deals which are labelled, “good”, “great”, or even “spectacular”.

Another great feature when selecting your destinations, you can select from several categories including Weekend Getaways, Tropical Getaways, Best for Photography (do it for the ‘gram’), Spicy Food Spots, Underrated Asia and also James Bond Film Locations. Once you select a fare, Hitlist will take you through SkyScanner to the deal.

Hitlist then, you can either type in where you want to go and it will tell you when the price is too good not to go! Or you can also swipe through suggestions and save new favourites based on various preferences you’ve laid out. The app is also a great place to start/keep an eye for your next/future vacation. It gives unique experiences at a great price and is appropriate for novice or pro travellers.
