Located in the Cyclades, situated alongside other paradise islands such as Santorini, Mykonos has had a long history attracting artists, the rich and the famous, from as early as the 30s. Towards the 70s, Mykonos attracted more of a hippy crowd, before re-establishing itself as one of the most glamorous destinations in Europe.
When we think of Miami, our first thought is a party lifestyle, beautiful beaches, palm trees, expensive hotels, an extravagant world, perhaps – but this is primarily South Beach (SoBe), which most people regard as ‘Miami’. Few people consider real Miami, located in what the locals would regard as downtown.
Think of the Balearic islands and you automatically imagine a clubbing holiday, stag weekend with the lads or something similar. More club 18-30 than what you’d really find across the islands, which prove to be a great destination for a long weekend to take in some sun, enjoy beaches and incredible cuisine.
